M. Vogt has a proven track record of success in the management of market driven strategies for start-up as well as established organizations. His unique international background includes 4 years based in Europe and extensive experience in China and Japan. He is multilingual: English, French, German and Spanish.
From October 2001 through December 2004, Mr. Vogt was Vice-President of Marketing at EKOS Corporation, a start-up located in Bothell, WA. During his tenure as Vice-President, the company developed a unique technology applying ultrasound-enhanced thrombolysis for the treatment of stroke and peripheral vascular occlusions.
From September 1999 through October 2001, Mr. Vogt was Director then Vice-President of International Sales and Marketing at Somnus Medical Technologies. Somnus was a publicly traded, medical device company dedicated to the treatment of upper airway disorders, using proprietary temperature controlled radiofrequency technology. Somnus is now a division of Gyrus Group PLC, UK.
From March 1992 through September 1999, Mr. Vogt was at Target Therapeutics (Publicly Traded) where he assumed various Sales and Marketing responsibilities before and after the merger with Boston Scientific Corporation (BSX). Responsibilities included spending 4 years in Europe as a European Sales and Marketing Manager in charge of deploying an immensely successful program for the treatment of brain aneurysm. (GDC or Guglielmi Detachable Coil). He was also director of sales and marketing in charge of the German subsidiary. He became finally senior marketing manager aneurysm therapy, a 60 millions dollar franchise at the time.
Mr. Vogt holds an MBA in International Management from Graduate School of Management, University of Dallas, Texas and a BBA in Finance from EDC - Ecole des Dirigeants et Createurs d'entreprise in Paris, France.
